Taking inspiration from historical artists such as Sir Edwin Landseer, George Stubbs, and Sir Peter Paul Rubens, young artists will discover how animals have been portrayed through history in fine art.
Young artists will investigate the world of Japanese art in this expressive drawing and printmaking workshop. Age 11 - 16.

Taking inspiration from traditional woodblock prints, students will explore mark making and composition to create bold, graphic fish designs.
Blondel Medieval & Renaissance wind band playing music from the 14th-16th centuries on shawms, bagpipes and recorders.

In order to honour the passing of Gene Hackman, we will be showing one of his greatest performances as Harry Moseby in Arthur Penn’s hard boiled classic - Night Moves. Hackman oozes world-weary cynicism as a private detective in search of an actress’s missing daughter, stumbling on a world of conspiracy.

Readings by a different local published poet each month and this month we’re delighted to welcome
Faye Marshall – a poet and spoken word artist who founded the Cloth and Coal Poetry Community in south Leeds and has hosted workshops and panels in the UK, Europe, the Americas and South East Asia.
Her poetry has been published in several anthologies, and her debut pamphlet, ‘Throwing Sugar on the Fire’ was published by Yaffle Press in May 2025.
