Made With Music for Babies, Headingley

A five week music course for babies up to around 18 months and their parents/carers running from 25th February to 25th March inclusive.

We introduce basic musical concepts through fun singing and live music and give lots of ideas for making music at home.

Each session has a different theme and each term is different across the year. We adapt our sessions for the age group and include any requests for particular songs or music.

Entangled: Leeds Craftivists Felt Workshop

Leeds Craftivists are proud to partner with Leeds artist Pippa Woodhams on our Transform Trade campaign. 

Alongside Pippa’s long history of campaigning for trade justice in Leeds, she is a talented felt-maker, and her current exhibition "Entangled" explores relations between the industrial history of the mill and its environment. In this special workshop, she will give a tour of the exhibition, and help us make our own felt creations inspired by her work.

The Sculpture Gallery: Guest Exhibition - Adele Howitt

We kick off our programme of guest artists for 2025 (from 6th February) with Adele Howitt, a ceramicist  from Hull who has exhibited internationally and whose intricate pieces are a joy to behold.

Come to see Adele’s work and the other Gallery artists throughout February. Inspired by landscape and nature, Adele uses various techniques, including hand building, coil and slab building, hand-thrown elements, extruded clay, and glazing, to examine the natural environment in fine detail.

Adele’s exhibition will be on display until the end of February.

Sculpture Gallery: Guest Artist - Adele Howitt - Launch

Please come and join us on Thursday, 6th February when we’ll be holding our usual First Thursday of the Month gathering to launch our new Guest Artist of the Month. We kick off our programme of guest artists for 2025 with Adele Howitt, a ceramicist  from Hull who has exhibited internationally and whose intricate pieces are a joy to behold. It’s an opportunity to meet some of the Gallery artists in addition to Adele, over a glass of wine.
