Cambridge Hands On Science are coming to our children's library! CHaOS is a student-run science outreach group based at the University of Cambridge who aim to share their enthusiasm for science! With work by Tacita Dean (b.1965), Hamish Fulton (b. 1946), Anya Gallaccio (b.1963), Andy Goldsworthy (b.1956), John Hilliard (b.1945) and David Nash (b.1945) this display reappraises land art and considers how it continues to shape our understanding of landscape.
For centuries, sculpture has been a site of encounter between history, myth and materials. Fragment and Form continues this by bringing together three contemporary artists Emii Alrai (b. 1993), Mónica Mays (b. 1990), Dominique White (b. 1993) in an exhibition that explores heritage, displacement and the ways in which personal and collective histories are preserved, marginalised and contested through materiality.
