Local maker and artist stalls, plants, woodwork and crafts from the Hollybush Project, bric-a-brac and festive fare.

All proceeds support the running of the centre, which has been making a difference to local people and green spaces for 45 years.

Hayseed Dixie

The undisputed creators of their own musical genre, "Rockgrass," Hayseed Dixie began on September 22, 2000 when Barley Scotch (aka John Wheeler) stumbled across a wrecked car on an isolated mountain road near Deer Lick Holler, East Tennessee. Amongst the wreckage, he found few old-school vinyl records by a group he had never before heard of called AC/DC.

This workshop is for 13-18 year-olds. Parents must remain at the venue throughout the workshop.

Come join us for a fun day of sculpting mushrooms out of clay! Let your creativity flow as you mold and shape your very own unique fungi creations. This event is perfect for both beginners and experienced sculptors alike. Supplies will be provided, so all you need to bring is your imagination. Don't miss out on this chance to get your hands dirty and make some beautiful mushroom art!

Nature Collaging Workshop (13+)

This workshop is for 13-18 year-olds. Parents must remain at the venue throughout the workshop.

Come join us for a fun and creative day at Left Bank Leeds on Saturday 14th December at 12pm. Let's explore the art of collaging and create beautiful landscape scenes together.

You can expect to learn different techniques for collaging and experiment with painting and pencil mediums. We'll be using art paper and creating landscape art from scratch in this workshop so if you've ever collaged with recycled materials and cutouts before, you'll love this class.

The Big Mushroom Hunt!

Artist Poppy-Lee Jennings has sculpted a mini forest full of fungi and hidden them around Left Bank Leeds. Join us for this art scavenger hunt, spot some beautiful mushrooms and learn a little about fungi and foraging too!

Every forager will receive a blank foraging guide to fill out, pencils for field studies, and a map that will give you clues and help you find all the mushrooms in our space. If you follow the clues find all the mushrooms on the list then you'll be entered into a prize draw at the end of the day.
