Come join us for a fun and creative evening. Let's explore the art of collaging and create beautiful landscape scenes together.

You can expect to learn different techniques for collaging and experiment with painting and pencil mediums. We'll be using art paper and creating landscape art from scratch in this workshop so if you've ever collaged with recycled materials and cutouts before, you'll love this class.

Watercolour Mushrooms

Come join us for a fun evening of painting mushrooms with watercolours! No experience necessary - just bring your creativity and we'll provide all the materials you need. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and get in touch with their artistic side.

We'll be looking at fly agaric for this workshop - also known as amanita muscaria or toadstools - and learning how to use watercolour paints to depict beautiful and accurate paintings of mushrooms.

Mystery at the Museum

Calling all junior detectives! We need your help to solve a cold case.  

If you’re up for the challenge visit the Royal Armouries Museum this October half term.

You’ll be issued with a crime file on arrival, then your quest begins. Visit the crime scene and collect your evidence. Track down the suspects and find out what you can with some careful questioning. Take your evidence to the forensic lab and see if you’ve solved the case.

Spooky Skeleton Safari at Tropical World

With Tropical World decorated for Halloween come and explore our indoor zoo. Uncover a host of spooky animal skeletons hidden in our mangroves, rainforest and enclosures, and discover interesting facts as you join in our trail.

Our animal team will be giving keeper talks at 2pm daily in the Activity Room, with children's crafts to keep the little ones busy. The shop will feature a host of scary spiders and snakes, as well as more cuddly toys, books and games.

Krampus Market at The Key Club

Leeds Indie Market and The Key Club Present: Krampus Market.

The Krampus market returns on Sunday 1st December from 12pm-4pm at The Key Club for your annual dose of festive spook.

Taking over both of the venue's gig rooms, you can expect to find a delicious array of dark, witchy, unusual and otherwise alternative crafts, art and wares.

Leeds Indie Christmas Market at The Tetley

Leeds Indie Market are returning to The Tetley for a Festive special on Saturday 16th November from 10am until 3pm! 

You can expect to find an eclectic mix of local indie businesses showing of their art, makes and wares! A wonderful opportunity to tackle your Christmas shopping in one go AND support indies all at the same time.

Leeds Indie Market Halloween Special

Leeds Indie Market are back at Project House for their Halloween Special on Saturday 26th October, 12pm-5pm.

Tricks AND Treats are in store for this fabulously spooky market.

You can expect to find a fantastic lineup of alternative, dark and otherwise unusual stalls that are sure to get you into the spooky spirit for Halloween!

Fancy Dress is encouraged, and there will be trophies for the best dressed on the day!!
