Corinne Bailey Rae appointed new Patron at Northern School of Contemporary Dance

Corinne Bailey Rae’s appointment brings a fresh, cross-disciplinary perspective to the leading dance training institution, which has long been a beacon of creativity and artistic excellence. While Corinne’s background is rooted in music rather than dance, her deep appreciation for the arts in all forms makes her the perfect fit to support the work of NSCD.

"Scrappy Birds" Glass Workshop with Sam Yates

Make your own totally unique scrappy bird and learn how to copper foil and solder stained glass.
You'll then get to complete your bird with wire legs and googly eyes.

Please note - there is no glass cutting involved in this workshop, it's the perfect session for those wanting a little taster into glass.

What a fabulous way to spend a couple of hour on a Saturday!!

Samantha is a professional glass artist (as well as being a wonderful tutor) and you can view her work here.
