For this week's Visiting Artist's Talk at the University of Leeds we welcome Heather Peak.

Heather Peak has established an ambitious collaborative practice, often with Ivan Morison, over the past twenty years that transcends the divisions between art, architecture, theatre and social practice.

Ruth Steinberg is a story weaver, bringing together stories from her Jewish culture, the life of her family and her husband. Using personal stories, folktales, songs, she takes you on a journey that will make you laugh and cry. 

Ruth was born a Jewish Geordie in 1952 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Some say she is clown, a storyteller, a musician. She says she is passionate about using creativity to touch, transform and show the absurdities we live in and with.

Learn some simple crochet stitches to create your own Christmas hanging decoration and garland. Beginners are very welcome at this all abilities workshop.
