Roots & Rhymes is a creative workshop and workout for all children and their parents/carers. We meet on Sundays at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm, 10-11.30.

This workshop is for 13-18 year-olds. Parents must remain at the venue throughout the workshop.

This event is perfect for both beginners and experienced sculptors alike. Supplies will be provided, so all you need to bring is your imagination. You can expect to learn different techniques for collaging and experiment with painting and pencil mediums. We'll be using art paper and creating landscape art from scratch in this workshop so if you've ever collaged with recycled materials and cutouts before, you'll love this class.
Aerial Hoop / Mondays 7:30-8:30am
Join Jess, to learn beautiful shapes, sequences, rolls and drops on the aerial hoop.
Aerial hoop is an amazing way to build strength and flexibility in the body, while also challenging stamina and coordination. This class is perfect for those with some aerial hoop experience, but complete beginners are very welcome.
Jess will offer variations and modifications throughout to support all in the class. Come and fly with us!

An adventurous tale from Speedwell Dance of seasons gone awry, an ancient and powerful witch and the determination of children to put things right. Join musicians and dancers to awaken scampering creatures, tiptoe past the Mountain Witch’s cave and finally convince her to let the sun return.
A playful and inclusive experience for children aged 3-8 years and their grown-ups. With inspiring dance, songs and original music played live on clarinet, flute and cello.
