Complicité | Worn

How do the threads of the clothes we weave around ourselves connect us as humans to the greater-than-human world?

From hand-me-downs to hauls, this is a physical, visceral story of fashion and the natural world. A return to the body and the act of wearing. A reconnection to nature and the means of making.

A devised piece of physical theatre inspired by the wardrobes of the MA Interdisciplinary Dance Performance students at NSCD and the discarded garments of Leeds.

As they head into the cold, dripping arches, they find more than just a roosting site for Britain’s smallest flying mammal. Is there an unexpected guest in the arches?
