The Beauty of Being Herd

Nominated for 'best newcomer' at Greater Manchester Fringe 2024, The Beauty of Being Herd is Ruth Berkoff’s debut show - a funny, heartfelt, quirky tale with original songs, comedy and even a rave about Hannah, who's decided to live as a sheep.

Don’t worry, she’s thought it all through. She’s even got a raincoat. And she’d love to tell you all about it at her BIG GOODBYE PARTY. Everyone is invited.

Kenton Cool - K2: The Savage Mountain

There is no mountain in the world that strikes fear into climbers quite like K2.

In this new show, Britain’s most successful Himalayan climber, Kenton Cool, takes audiences on a roller-coaster history of one of the world’s most notorious mountains; from tragic early attempts, to the highly controversial Italian first ascent, through to present day commercialisation and his own nail-biting ascent in 2021.

With Kenton’s trademark humour and knowledge, this is definitely one not to missed.

Presented by Speakers from the Edge.

68 the Musical

Cynthia, a Yorkshire factory worker and wannabe fashion designer, is desperate to be a part of the changes happening in swinging London. Wide eyed and innocent, Cynthia soon finds herself under the wing of the intriguing and glamourous Jayne and her family of collected outcasts.

Using 1960’s inspired music, and set around the events of the Grosvenor Square riots, 68 tackles the clash of cultures taking place in late 1960’s Britain from the changing attuites towards gay rights, and the Vietnam war, to police brutality and the lasting effects of sexual abuse.

Waiting for Gateaux

Waiting for Gateaux by Ed Waugh & Trevor Wood is a satirical play set in possibly the worst health and fitness club in the North of England. This slimming club boasts one cycle, one yoga mat, one exercise ball and one muscle stretcher.

A comedy about four seriously dysfunctional people who come to the club more out of loneliness than a desire to lose weight. They are there to make friends and have a good gossip.
