You’re invited to Opera Rave at Leeds Opera Festival– a 30-minute sharing under club-inspired lights and visuals.
Opera Rave is a brand-new way to experience opera, fusing operatic libretto and singing styles with electronic beats – it’s part-opera, part-rave.
Across five days prior to the sharing, the Opera Rave team – led by Leeds Opera Festival’s Guest Artistic Director, Emma Hill – will be experimenting with beats, notes and Bizet’s beautiful opera, Carmen.

This epic competition brings together three simple ingredients – pints, a piano and a pub – promising some of the greatest pub piano entertainment to hit the city of Leeds.
