Leeds Inclusive Employers Network (LIEN) October

We look forward to seeing you at the next Leeds Inclusive Employer Network event where we'll be hearing from Jamie Jones Buchanon, Andrew and Jennie from Leeds Carers and the DWP Access to Work team to find out about free support in the workplace.

Our host for the event, Answer Digital's office is situated approximately 10 minutes walk from the back exit of Leeds City Station, towards and past Bridgewater Place. Parking is available. Please see their website for further information.

Hocus Pocus

Magical sensory fun in the Hollybush garden, spooky but not scary, with TCV Hollybush and Tiny Outdoor Explorers.

Expect creepy crafts, mashmallow toasting, spooky treasure trails, potion mixing and lots more.

Recommended ages 2-10 years old.

Please arrive any time between 10:30am and 1:30pm, the event will close at 2:30pm.

Fancy dress encouraged! (but please have alternative clothing suitable for toasting marshmallows at the fire)  

Suitable for pushchairs, toilets and baby changing facilities available.

Instructions not Included by Amanda Hall will be on display at Bramley Baths on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of October. 

Inspired by an aqua aerobics class, this fascinating project explores how we think and feel about aging with humour, creativity and powerful insight. After its debut in Bristol this summer, Bramley Baths is the first stop in Amanda’s aspirations to tour the exhibition.

Summat Spooky at Flavour Like Fancy

Ribbons Public Launch | Women of Leeds Sculpture

Join us for the public launch event of the 'Ribbons' sculpture.

Nearly 400 inspirational Leeds women, voted for by members of the public, are being celebrated with a new sculpture in the heart of the city’s cultural quarter.

Created by artist, Pippa Hale, 'Ribbons' will be located at the top of the gardens between Leeds City College’s Quarry Hill campus and Leeds Playhouse at the gateway to the SOYO development at Quarry Hill, from October 2024.

We Three Things present a fabulously intimate live music experience, featuring the wonderful Marnie Glum. 

Shadow Brewing taproom provides the venue for what is West Yorkshire’s answer to Tiny Desk concerts. The intimacy of the space prompts excellent performances and a gorgeous atmosphere. The taproom has already played host to such greats as Dilettante, The Howl and the Hum, Green Gardens and Carpet.
