Come on an enchanting adventure in Northern Ballet's brand-new children's ballet Hansel & Gretel.

For the majority of exhibitions at BasementArtsProject we run a 'Lunchtime Conversation' in which the exhibiting artist is invited to a home cooked community meal around the kitchen table.
We only ever offer 10 tickets -all of which are free - as that is all I can fit around the table comfortably.
Get to know the artist and chat about Art, Life, The Universe and so much more...
In 2022, global-folk band Mishra met international fusion vocalist Deepa Shakthi. Out of a blossoming musical friendship, they began a collaborative project that takes the soul-stirring euphoria of Deepa's Sufi singing as a starting point, and weaves in the threads of Mishra's UK folk and Indian classical influences.
Their joyous performances are a journey of contrasts, from hand-clapping trance-like sufi songs to spacious stillness and reflection. Their debut collaborative album explores the meeting point of two musical worlds and is set for release in autumn 2025.

Martha Cooper is one of the most adored and influential members of the street art world yet almost unknown outside of it, perhaps ‘the most iconic photographer you’ve never heard of ’! Her book Subway Art is the ‘bible’ of graffiti and is widely considered to be one of the most stolen books of all time.
