Birdie the Bookworm - World Book Day Workshop

Birdie is a bookworm with a big imagination. She LOVES books but even more than that, she loves inventing stories and going on adventures in her head. Join her by sharing your ideas in this participatory storytelling performance to create a new and never-before-explored adventure where you can make your own story-inspired headdress.

Radio Workshop: The Art of Interviewing

Learn the art of interviewing and gathering radio/podcast stories and find out about the new "Global Connections" oral history project happening at Chapel FM Arts Centre. 

Not only will you get to know how radio and podcasting works, but it will also give you the chance to meet interesting people & be apart of our world here at Chapel FM Arts Centre.

Burns Night Ceilidh: Fundraiser with Roadblock

Join Roadblock on Burns night for a fundraising Ceilidh to support their project to build a bike powered machine in Armley!

FEATURING the amazing Bandiera Rossa Ceilidh Band who’ve been playing together for 30 years.  On the menu for the night there will be veggie haggis!

Doors at 7pm for fun, dancing, food and fun and fundraising! Ceremonial (meat) haggis, veggie and vegan haggis are available. There will be neeps, tatties and your choice of vegan/non-vegan whiskey sauce, supper served around 8.30pm. 

Rat Depot Presents: The Fabulous Baron Munchausen

On 13th February at Archive, Leeds based arts and culture group Rat Depot present a special screening of iconic Czech director Karel Zeman's The Fabulous Baron Munchausen (1962)!

Join a baron, an astronaut and a princess on a grand adventure across time and space. 26 years before Terry Gilliam’s version, Zeman brought us his incredible, kaleidoscopic take of the classic book, packed with innovative animation techniques and spectacular set pieces.

ELO helped form the soundtrack to the seventies, and “Ultimate ELO” play sets packed with all the disco hits and lighter waving anthems that will have everyone singing along.

The Drowns
