An Evening with Ọkan is a vibrant night of live music, dance, and conversation from performers and creators Akeim Toussaint Buck and Ella Mesma, collaboratively known as Maya & Toussaint, inspired by their new work, Ọkan. Rooted in the Yoruba word meaning Oneness, Conscience, and Heart, Ọkan embodies a limitless, open-minded approach to life.

We’re thrilled to announce that the sixth edition of Photo North Festival will be hosted at the iconic Carriageworks Theatre, right in the heart of Leeds—one of the UK’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities.
This year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience, with a stunning lineup of exhibitions complemented by a daily program of talks and screenings—all included in your ticket.
We kick off our programme of guest artists for 2025 (from 6th February) with Adele Howitt, a ceramicist from Hull who has exhibited internationally and whose intricate pieces are a joy to behold.
Come to see Adele’s work and the other Gallery artists throughout February. Inspired by landscape and nature, Adele uses various techniques, including hand building, coil and slab building, hand-thrown elements, extruded clay, and glazing, to examine the natural environment in fine detail.
Adele’s exhibition will be on display until the end of February.
Please come and join us on Thursday, 6th February when we’ll be holding our usual First Thursday of the Month gathering to launch our new Guest Artist of the Month. Experience 'Everything and All of Us' anew with an evening of live piano performances.
Acclaimed Leeds-based pianists and composers, Simeon Walker and Laura Cole, will each perform brand-new music live in the gallery space. They have been specially commissioned to respond to our current exhibition, 'Mary Griffiths: Everything and All of Us'.
The exhibition as a whole foregrounds Griffiths' collaborative approach. This includes works created with poets, biophysicists, astronomers, engineers - and musicians.

Disrupting Silence: Voices from Beyond the Margins
Leeds West Yorkshire — RIACHBROS is proud to announce "UNTITLED," a unique pop-up art exhibition and film screening that will showcase the work of emerging and talented local artists. This one-of-a-kind event is set to take place on Saturday 1st February at The Assembly House leeds 5 - 8pm, and will center around the theme, "Disrupting Silence: Voices from Beyond the Margins."
'Inspired by Temple Newsam' is an intervention at Temple Newsam House in collaboration with Leeds Fine Artists in 2025.
This exhibition will feature works by multiple artists who have produced works in response to various aspects of Temple Newsam - from its history to architecture, from its collection of fine and decorative arts to its fabulous grounds.
This intervention will open in April 2025 and close at the end of September 2025.
