'Garforth Nature Journal Club' will be held once per month at the Community Garden at the Lord Gascoigne pub.
Open to adults, and older teenagers accompanied by adults from Garforth and the local area.
Learn how to keep a nature journal, using words, pictures and numbers. A way to document your connection to nature where you live.

A peep up the chimney to examine myths, folklore and prejudices about chimney sweeps, as well harsh realities about the campaign to improve working conditions and against the exploitation of climbing boys.
This study day looks at material from the huge collection of Sweepiana amassed by Dr Henry which is now looked after by Leeds Museums.

Learn sewing machine skills to make your own pad and make pads to support women here and overseas. Drop in session. During these sessions we are sewing reusable, washable period packs that will be distributed in Kenya alongside quality menstrual health education.
We welcome all sewing abilities to get involved with the workshops. They are a fun, relaxing and productive way to spend an afternoon.
5Rhythms® - Body & Breath is an intuitive dance class without music. A chance to tune in more with your own rhythm, and the rhythm of your environment, to find your way gently into movement. Guided by accredited 5Rhythms® teacher Ben Deutsch, each class is a unique experience, co-created in the moment.
This is an hour long class. We'll spend approximately 45 minutes moving together, and there will be some time at the beginning and end of the class to check in with each other, and to share words if we want to.

A dance workshop followed by an open Jam with live musicians. In these events we provide a space to exercise our creativity through sound and body, to share our practices, and to improvise.
In this edition @amani_sans_r will be sharing a workshop focused on bringing contact with others into improvisation, working on skills of listening, playfulness, and taking and giving space. More info to come x
