On Monday 5 May, we welcome Leeds Arts University Students to host two creative workshops, open to all!

Comic Art Workshop 11pm - 12pm

This session will introduce the comic medium in a simple but engaging way. Participants will be guided through the process of creating their very own short comic; sketching fun stick figures, superheroes, and nonsensical speech bubbles, making the process lighthearted and accessible.

Fun With Origami 12.15pm - 2.15pm

This interactive workshop introduces children (ages 3-10) and their families to the creative, cultural, and educational world of origami. Participants will explore Origami, the Japanese tradition of paper folding.

Through guided activities, storytelling, and hands-on folding, children will develop fine motor skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities while engaging in a fun, immersive experience.

Though these workshops are focused towards children, they're open to anyone who'd like to participate!

This event will take place in Wellington Central which has step free access and accessible toilets. The nearest blue badge parking is the NCP car park on site, please see here for more info.
