Welcoming local mothers to explore mental health and self expression through exploring photography and zine/book making.

Join artist Joanna Jowett for a relaxed session at East Leeds Project, making quick self portraits, writing collectively and making publications. Children and babies are welcome, there will be some materials for them and a space for them to play. Drinks and light snacks will be provided. The workshop is adult-focused and for parents and anyone who identifies as a 'mother' - cis, gay, trans, non-binary, single, married, divorced, coupled, teenage, menopausal, step, adoptive, bereaved - everyone welcome!

We're exploring themes of care and centring those who are caring for others.

Travel bursaries are available for those who need them to be able to attend.
