Summer Solstice: Rest, Reflect, Recharge: A half day retreat for Women in Medicine

As the longest day of the year unfolds, we invite you to step into a space of reflection, intention, and connection. The summer solstice is a time of new beginnings - a chance to embrace the season’s energy with patience, nourishment, and trust.

Join us for a restorative experience in nature, where we’ll slow down, tune in, and realign with what truly matters.

Guided Walk – Begin with a mindful journey through the woods, setting the tone for the session.

Circle Gathering – A welcoming space for connection and quiet reflection.

Intuitive Infusion - Yoga And Herbs Workshop

Starting with a meditation, connecting to our body and breath. We will move into a sequence of yoga poses to create a fluid flow, dropping from our minds into our bodies; Allowing us to tune into the intuitive nature that lies within.

After a grounding shavasana, join me in a herbal tea tasting. Using our intuition, we will explore the properties of the herb, discovering the healing power it has for us.

I will then share my herbalist insights, with the opportunity to discuss and ask any questions

Deep Listening Workshop

Environments are living compositions. What happens when we listen to and play with environments?

Price = Pay as you Feel or Can

Deep Listening is an interdisciplinary awareness and attention practice created by composer Pauline Oliveros, using as main resources listening and sounding scores or meditations, somatic exercises, and imaginal/dream play.

Mandala For Mind (Yoga Workshop)

Charity Fundraising Yoga Class for Leeds Mind.

We will begin our practice with a calming yin pose to ground ourselves before slowly building a sequence of poses. We will be moving in a mandala style, 360 degrees around the mat, being guided by our body and breath.

Through this mindful flow it will allow time to move from our head into our body. Taking this time for our self care and wellness, whilst raising money for an absolutely amazing cause at the same time.

AcroYoga

AcroYoga is a dynamic partner practice that blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a partner practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community.

This session is primarily a jam session, where you can practice and play together.

For beginners there will also be some time at the start of this session where a couple of people will work with beginners to help for the first hour or so.

Yoga @ Open Source Arts

All-levels, holistic yoga sessions. Expect a slow flow which blends movement, meditation and breath work.

Our focus in these practices is enhancing strength and flexibility whilst deepening our connection with ourselves and the natural world so that we can cultivate a greater sense of ease, presence and belonging.

Classes end with nourishing deep rest.

This will be an extended Yoga Nidra* on the last Friday of each month.

Everyone welcome, just as you are – including beginners.
