Create your own pinned butterfly frame!

Kate from Pokaty Artwork will walk you through the process of creating your own box frame with a REAL pinned butterfly. Select your specimen and background and create your own piece of natural wall art.

All materials and full instruction will be provided!

Wax Melts Making with RinkyDink Candles

Taking Place on Saturday 22nd March at RinkyDink HQ (LS12), from 1pm-3pm

Come and learn a new skill, artist Aimee from RinkyDink Candles will walk you through the process of crafting your very own set of wax melts.

You'll be able to choose your own moulds, colours and scents whilst learning all about the candle making process!

World Book Day: Story and Song

A singing storytelling session for World Book Day with freelance community music worker Nicky Bray in our beautiful museum, to tie in with this year's 'Story Time' exhibition.

Join us for an hour of light hearted literary and lyrical fun. All ages welcome. Especially suited to pre-schoolers!

The Wonder

Set shortly after the Great Famine in a small village in Ireland, eleven-year old Anna O’Donnell, a young girl, played by Kila Lord Cassidy, who stops eating but remains miraculously alive and well. Is the village harbouring a saint ‘surviving on manna from heaven’ or is something else going on? Florence Pugh plays the English nurse Lib Wright who is brought to a tiny village to observe the situation. William Byrne, played by Tom Burke is a journalist who grew up locally and is back to cover the story for the Daily Telegraph.
