Apocalypse Wow! by Carl Harrison

Apocalypse Wow! is a cabaret game show for the end of the world. Hosted by punk drag alien Niche Lorraine and starring you the audience as the contestants.

We will sing, dance and scream into the black velvet void as we ask ourselves what can we wave goodbye to as our time here ticks down.  

Hilarious, absurd and just a touch harrowing, this doomsday cabaret promises to lift your spirits high above the rising sea levels.

This event is followed by the Ageless Closing party with a playlist curated by Carl Harrison.

Introduction to Woodwork - Hand Tools Level 1

For absolute beginners - Have a go at using the tools that are commonly lying around the house that you have no idea how to use!

Duration

5 hours with a 30 minute lunch break. 10am - 3pm. Tea and coffee breaks are optional. Lunch is not provided so please bring lunch with you, there are places nearby to grab some lunch if needed. Please this course is designed for people over 18 years old. We now run Young Makers courses for under 18's full listings can be found on Eventbrite.

A one day course developing the skills you have learned from our 'Introduction to Woodwork - Hand Tools 1' course, as well as expanding tool knowledge and skills.

What skill level should I be?

Street Styles Dance Class (Ages 8-11) | Yorkshire Dance

A fun and dynamic class combining breakdance and streetdance. Includes hip hop – old skool (popping, locking, waving) and nu skool (krump, house and more) – a high energy, positively focused way into the funkiest moves on the street. 

During the term the group will work on a dance to perform as part of an informal sharing for parents at the end of term. 

Booking for Spring term is now open. Summer term starts on Saturday 20 April and runs till Saturday 6 July 2024. 

Ballet Class (Ages 6-9) | Yorkshire Dance

Each class offers the chance to learn ballet from professional dance tutors in a friendly, safe and fun environment. Build on technique without the pressure of exams in this creative session. During the term the group will work on a dance to perform as part of an informal sharing for parents at the end of term.  

Booking for Summer term is now open. Summer term starts on Saturday 20 April and runs till Saturday 6 July 2024.  

Ballet Class (Ages 4-6) | Yorkshire Dance

Each class offers the chance to learn ballet from professional dance tutors in a friendly, safe environment. Achieve basic ballet skills in this creative fun class – encourage your child to fall in love with dancing. During the term each group will work on a dance to perform as part of an informal sharing for parents at the end of term.
