‘Live at The Wardrobe’ will feature pupils from a number of Leeds Secondary Schools, giving them the exciting opportunity to perform at a prestigious venue in the city. Ranging in styles from rock to soul, there will be a varied programme with lots for everyone to enjoy!

Morning Aerial Hoop w/Jess

Join Jess, to learn beautiful shapes, sequences, rolls and drops on the aerial hoop.

Aerial hoop is an amazing way to build strength and flexibility in the body, while also challenging stamina and coordination. This class is perfect for those with some aerial hoop experience, but complete beginners are very welcome.

Jess will offer variations and modifications throughout to support all in the class. Come and fly with us!

Aerial Silks w/Jess

Join Jess, to learn climbs, inverts, locks and stunning shapes on the aerial silks.

Aerial Silks are one of the most beautiful forms of aerial arts, and although challenging at times, the strength and confidence gained is like no other.

This class is perfect for complete beginners or those with some aerial silks experience. All shapes will be accessible from the ground with the option to take it to the air when you feel ready. We will focus on skills such as single & double foot locks, hip locks, catchers and more.

Youth Acting for Screen Diploma

The Acting for Screen Youth Diploma course is for children and teens aged 11 to 16 years who are passionate about pursuing a career as professional screen actor. YAFTA offer a range of child and teen acting classes alongside industry workshops to equip your child with all the skills they need to act on screen.

Taught at the Leeds Media Centre, the 12 month course is designed to combine with existing study and life commitments. 

Dust & Metal

Dust & Metal is a creative documentary stemming from director Esther Johnson’s field research in archives of the Vietnamese Film Institute. The documentary combines archive film, contemporary footage, and music to offer a unique perspective on Vietnam through the lens of its ubiquitous motorbike culture.    

Heritage Open Days - Urban Sketching in Leeds Central Library

Drop in between 3pm and 8pm Wednesday 11th September 2024.

The building, by George Corson (1829-1910), offers spectacular interiors including the Tiled Hall, the staircases and specialist libraries and reflects Corson’s eclectic interests which included Islamic architecture.
Participants should bring their own materials, sketchbook and folding seating if required.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
