This afternoon edition of Edek’s Doodle Chat is a relaxed social group to doodle and chat and EVERYONE is welcome to attend.
Doodle Chats are a safe space to talk and listen an opportunity to be social and prioritise well-being. A place to connect and build community.
For the last two Summers, we have had the opportunity to showcase a new area of spirits for us - one we’ve always wanted to shout about, and we are thrilled to be continuing this for a third year. Fun and education are at the heart of what we do at Studio Events, so we were so delighted to see how receptive people were to the world of tequila.

Themes from the songs are enlarged upon, so by the end of the talk, subjects covered include fashions back then, the Cold War, Vietnam, flower power, the space race – and more!
A light-hearted and nostalgic look back at a decade many remember fondly!
Tibet has a unique culture and a strikingly distinctive location on a high and massive plateau in the Himalayas.
It was seized by China in the 1950s and has since suffered from repression. But it does what it can to preserve its distinctiveness, as Professor Joyce Hill saw when she visited it a few years ago.
Her talk will set Tibet in its geographical and historical context and give us a flavour of what Tibet is like today.

Leeds Rape Crisis Centre, SARSVL, has issued a call out for submissions of feminist short poems to celebrate feminist art and help raise money. At least 12 original poems will be selected for a ‘Feminist Poem a Month’ calendar to sell as a winter fundraiser, and/or share a selection of the poems submitted from 25th November to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls and the subsequent 16 days of action.
