Leeds Tequila Festival 2024

For the last two Summers, we have had the opportunity to showcase a new area of spirits for us - one we’ve always wanted to shout about, and we are thrilled to be continuing this for a third year. Fun and education are at the heart of what we do at Studio Events, so we were so delighted to see how receptive people were to the world of tequila.

Travels in Tibet

Tibet has a unique culture and a strikingly distinctive location on a high and massive plateau in the Himalayas.

It was seized by China in the 1950s and has since suffered from repression. But it does what it can to preserve its distinctiveness, as Professor Joyce Hill saw when she visited it a few years ago.

Her talk will set Tibet in its geographical and historical context and give us a flavour of what Tibet is like today.

Elvis Costello & Steve Nieve: 15 Songs from 50 Years

Walking in the footsteps of Harry Houdini and beyond the long shadow of Charlie Chaplin, Frank Carson and the great Leonard Sachs, Elvis Costello brings his new presentation 15 Songs From 50 Years to the City Varieties Music Hall, staging four unique performances over two days.

All four shows will have differing repertoires, with songs selected from each of the five decades of Costello’s astonishing songwriting endeavors.
