When most bands get round to releasing album number five their sound, weighed down by expectation or having resorted to formula, has generally ossified. It might still sound good and fans will probably lap it up, but the days of adventure and exploration are quite often long gone.
Join photographer Peter Mitchell, together with Jane Bhoyroo, Principal Keeper at Leeds Art Gallery, for a lunchtime tour of Mitchell’s latest exhibition Nothing Lasts Forever.

Orlando Weeks’ upcoming third album ‘Loja’ is a record in which place is as vital a characteristic as the emotions and incidents that he explores. The overarching themes are optimism and reflection: the positive mindset that emerged as he left London for a new life in Lisbon together with a new - found awareness about the things that you have left behind.
Will Sebag-Montefiore is a satirist who turns the news into sketches and songs and is creating his first solo show 'Will of the People'. Georgie Jones is a poet and performer working on a brand new show about how to stay hopeful. Join them for a night of comedy and spoken word poetry.
They are sharing a night because they both share a deep loved of both maize based snacks and being the centre of attention. Also because their style is nice and fun and cute. You should come!
Dressing is the project of Irish artist Kevin Kirwan who has quickly developed an esteemed reputation with his intricate weaving of field recordings, coarse noise textures and dynamic tape manipulation.
