Leeds African and Caribbean Food Fest is BACK!
Be prepared to tantalize your taste buds and experience a culinary and colourful explosion of African, and Caribbean Food and drinks.
This year's annual food fest not only coincides with Leeds West Indian Carnival it promises to be bigger, bringing together over 25+ food, drinks and craft stalls under one roof to celebrate the culinary skills, and flavours, of Africa and the Caribbean, brought to you, by our very own esteemed chefs.
Pack up your troubles and get ready for the FIRST CARDI ARMS KNEES UP! A night of interactive 1940s themed entertainment in the heart of one of Leeds’ best known heritage pubs.
Hosted by Mrs Ossett, Charwoman at the Cardigan Arms, expect a night of traditional sing-a-long tunes, with some more ‘contemporary’ tunes thrown in for good measure. Musicians will support the rowdy and raucous singing, and a SURPRISE GUEST ACT will take you back to a time when a pint cost 11 pence. (No, the bar won’t be serving at 1940s prices).
Join us for an entertaining trip behind the scenes of our magnificent Grade II* listed building. Find out about the architecture, history and famous visitors, as well as visiting some secret corners! Tours last approximately 1 hour and leave from the ground floor atrium, outside the Lending department.
