Meet Sonny. It’s the weekend and time for him to hit the town. To go “out out” and experience everything a Friday night has to offer a young man.

Dodgy dealers, even dodgier workmates and the local hard nuts merge into a toxic mix that assaults the senses. LASH reflects a youth, at a time post-BREXIT and in the aftermath of COVID, wasted in more ways than one.

Part gig, part theatre, LASH takes us along on Sonny’s booze-fuelled adrenaline rush, through bustling streets and bouncing clubs, where big tunes and mad characters collide.

Shamilton!

Ever heard of this show Hamilton? Shamilton is just like that but, *ahem*, better! Expect the same level of hip hop, incredible songs, stunning choreography and powerhouse singing … except made up by the cast.

Returning after their fully sold out month long run at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, comedy supergroup Baby Wants Candy presents Shamilton!: the Hamilton inspired hit hip hop musical created in 2016 in UCB in LA, with resident show status at Chicago’s legendary Second City.

Remembering What's Forgotten Poet in Residence - call out

Remembering What’s Forgotten has launched a new poet in residence opportunity for Leeds-based, emerging poets of black and South Asian heritage who wish to explore and centre lived experience narratives of mental ill health and amplify the importance of racial and social justice.

An eight-week residency, supported by a bursary, the role is open to Leeds residents with lived experience, of all genders and ages, from 18+, to produce an original piece of work.

The 4 Johns bring you “All We’ve Got Time For” their hilarious, innovative, mind-blowing, spoken word comedy show.

Time is running out and there’s a million things to do. The 4 Johns are going to change the world, right all wrongs and start a revolution, just as soon as they’ve updated their socials, finished watching Netflix and stopped playing Minecraft.

Funny, innovative, outspoken, uninhibited and unafraid, the show will make you laugh, cry, think, and laugh again.
