Landscape Collaging Workshop with Poppy (13-18 yrs)

Come join us for a fun and creative evening at Left Bank Leeds on Saturday 14th December at 12pm. Let's explore the art of collaging and create beautiful landscape scenes together.

You can expect to learn different techniques for collaging and experiment with painting and pencil mediums. We'll be using art paper and creating landscape art from scratch in this workshop so if you've ever collaged with recycled materials and cutouts before, you'll love this class.

Morning Aerial Hoop w/Jess

Join Jess, to learn beautiful shapes, sequences, rolls and drops on the aerial hoop.

Aerial hoop is an amazing way to build strength and flexibility in the body, while also challenging stamina and coordination. This class is perfect for those with some aerial hoop experience, but complete beginners are very welcome.

Jess will offer variations and modifications throughout to support all in the class. Come and fly with us!

Speedwell Dance presents... The Mountain Witch

An adventurous tale from Speedwell Dance of seasons gone awry, an ancient and powerful witch and the determination of children to put things right. Join musicians and dancers to awaken scampering creatures, tiptoe past the Mountain Witch’s cave and finally convince her to let the sun return.

A playful and inclusive experience for children aged 3-8 years and their grown-ups. With inspiring dance, songs and original music played live on clarinet, flute and cello.

Rattle & Hum Music

Fancy a music class where your little one can get their hands on actual real instruments?

During the Festival of Play I will have the flute with me for everyone to hear and explore - this is not a look don't touch class!

The class will be structured around familiar and new songs, with plenty of instruments, as well as time for free play.
