Pop Odyssey

Love island, an inflatable trojan horse and a thirst trap bot dressed up like a nymph. This immersive show collides ancient Greek and modern pop culture in this contemporary reworking of Homer’s Odyssey, told through text and movement, and co-created and performed by a cast of 60 final year students.

Celebrating 60 years since The Beatles last played in Leeds!

On Saturday the 19th of October, The Heart Centre in Headingley is hosting Leeds Beat '24. Featuring live performances from several leading Beatles tribute acts, Leeds Beat ’24 brings a mini-festival celebrating all things Beat! 60 years on from The Beatles last playing at the Odeon cinema, this event is not to be missed for all Beatles fans young and old.

Black History Month - Leeds City Council Creative Colleagues Exhibition

The flagship initiative by Leeds City Council for this year's Black History Month is an exhibition of multi media art pieces.

This is a unique opportunity to see the creative talents of ethnically diverse staff across Leeds City Council and to find out about what inspires them and how lived experience, culture and community influences their creative output.

The exhibition will be in situ across the following sites:

30 September to 13 October at the Reginald Centre.

14 October to 3 November at Merrion House.

Spooky Moo Boo Halloween Specials

Mixed age.

Our Halloween special is suitable for all ages 0 - 6 years but more suited to those from sitting onwards. We'll have a Moo Spooky time together. A small craft is included too.

One full paying child admits one adult. A sibling ticket can be purchased but does not admit an additional adult. If more than one adult would like to attend then they are able to observe the session from the café area.

Dressing up not essential but encouraged.

Leeds TUC presents - The Lions Of Rotherham

Leeds TUC invite you to a special performance of this brilliant play set in Yorkshire commemorating Yorkshire men who went to Spain to fight against fascism.

Set shortly after tens of thousands of Leeds people chased Oswald Mosley off Holbeck Moor, the play commemorates some of the Yorkshire men who went to Spain to bravely fight fascists in the Spanish Civil War!

Breakout Arts are putting this play on for us with local actors, it promises to be a great night.
