Every other week, we switch between high-energy commercial routines and graceful, feminine heels choreography, giving you the best of both worlds. Expect a supportive community, friendships, and confidence-building moves in every class!

What to Wear
Comfortable clothing, wear what makes you feel confident. We recommend bringing heels that:

Have a sturdy, block, or thicker heel (ideal for beginners).

Community Roller Dance

Evening Classes at Yorkshire Dance.

Roller Dance is a type of roller skating that has been around for decades. Community Roller Dance Sessions are a friendly, no-pressure space to learn the art of roller dance together. We cater for beginners and more advanced skaters. You must be able to stand still on skates, go forward and stop safely.  We will learn basic steps from Downtown, Zero, Strut Walk, to learning routines as a group.

Made with Music Mini-Gig

Made with Music are hosting this accessible, family friendly Mini Gig, an afternoon of live music with real bands in a real gig venue. Made with Music prides itself on being inclusive and accessible and want more families to be able to attend live music events.

Here are some of the things they do to make their gigs accessible:

Changing places trailer at each event (an accessible toilet with changing bench, hoist and attendant)

Pre-information available including a photo guide

Access to the space before the event to check it out

Free Family Activity - May Mayhem, Stay and Play

Join us for some 'May Mayhem' in our Stay and Play zone in the Market Kitchen. There will be FREE giant games to play including Pixel Play, Air Hockey and an interactive dance mat.

All our FREE family friendly activities also include:
Crafts and colouring
Lego & DUPLO building tables

All our activities are FREE and take place in the Market Kitchen where you will find a wide range of food options and lots of seating.

The Leeds See Your City Tour offers a unique opportunity to rediscover the city’s history and development, all while travelling aboard a vintage 1962 Leeds Daimler Double Decker bus, complete with a 1960s style packed lunch to enjoy during the tour!
