The Poetry Takeaway has travelled to a huge range of events - from the BRIT Awards and Glastonbury Festival to The Great Yorkshire Show and local high streets. All poems are free of charge.

Venture into life drawing in this relaxed, supportive four-week course taught by artist and tutor Paul Digby.
You'll explore figure drawing including line, gesture and shade to develop your own artistic style.

St John’s Church on New Briggate will open its doors to all for its annual carol service at 5.30pm on Sunday 22nd December.
