Edek's Doodle Chat

Edek’s Doodle Chat is a relaxed social group for everyone to doodle and chat.

A safe space to talk and listen. An opportunity to be social and prioritise well-being. A place to connect and build community.

We encourage you to bring along a creative activity that you’re working on. This could be anything from a colouring book to a painting, writing materials to collage stuff, or some air drying clay. BUT if you don't have anything, don't worry, there will be a range of materials and some inspiration if you would like some.

Yoga at Left Bank

Wake up with our refreshed Wednesday morning yoga sessions with our new teacher, the lovely Rosie then treat yourself with a free hot drink to take away or drink in.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Rosie moved over to Leeds to study in 2008 and has been here ever since, so you can enjoy her hybrid northern-irish-yorkshire accent! She live in Burley with her partner, Sarah, and their two cats!

Rosie has been practicing yoga for around 8 years now and finally decided to do her 200hrs yoga teacher training at the start of 2022.

OWLS Over 60s Art Group

Join our popular art class hosted in partnership with OWLS (Older Wiser Leeds Seniors) based in Headingley. This friendly group is led by a variety of practicing artists, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being creative as well as exploring a broad range of art practices and developing your skills.

The cafe is also open for drinks, snacks and lunch.

Toddler Takeover

Monday Mornings at Left Bank are dedicated to our youngest visitors and their carers and we love it! Toddler Takeover runs every Monday throughout the year (except over Christmas week) and you can expect a friendly environment to hang out, top up the caffeine, play and chat. 

We dedicate one side of the building to this session, there's lots of tables and benches as well as sofas, soft play mats and toys for the little ones to entertain themselves with or chew! 

Walk With Us - January Refresh

Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy a walk around the neighbourhood. 

Our walk will be at a steady pace allowing for time to chat, rest or take photos and all abilities are welcome. Dogs and children are welcome too! 

The walk will last for about one hour and upon our return we will have a complimentary hot drink at Left Bank.

LS6 Junk Yard Sale - January Refresh

It's a new year and there's no better time to have a good old clear our and recycle all the stuff you no longer need!

If you, like us are determined to make more sustainable purchases and save money - this is the perfect time to do it!

This is your opportunity to browse stalls from our friends and neighbours who have decluttered their homes, wardrobes, sheds and precious craft and vintage stashes with an aim to recycle so you can grab a bargain or 10! If you just love a good old Sunday bargain hunt you are going to love this!

Steve's Swap Shop - January Refresh

It's been a while BUT we are so excited to be hosting another SWAP SHOP at Left Bank and there's no better time than January to bring along items to swap with others as no money needs to change hands!

Come along with up to 20 good quality items to swap, they need to be clean, free from damage and complete. You can bring clothing, accessories, household items, games, toys and even unwanted Christmas gifts (shhhh we won't tell anyone!). We can't allow electrical items at this swap shop sorry!

Films at HEART: Past Lives

This romantic drama tells the story of two childhood friends over the course of 24 years while they contemplate the nature of their relationship as they grow apart, living different lives. The plot is semi-autobiographical and inspired by real events from Song’s life.
