Past and Present is an exciting project celebrating the rich, vibrant history of Woodhouse and the diverse musical and cultural traditions of the local community.

Led by heritage specialists Joe Williams and Matthew Bellwood, this initiative will explore the history of the neighbourhood, and the vibrant musical heritage that unites us.

As part of the project, we’ll be running some FREE Local Heritage Walks, please meet at Music House, arrive at 10.30am for briefing and refreshments. 

Walk commences at 11.00am.

The walks are gently paced and use footpaths and pavements which are level and accessible.

Each walk lasts for around 90 minutes.

Refreshments will be provided before and after the walk.

    Accessibility

    The walk will be relayed through a speaker system. Each walker will have their own earpiece. These have a small jack adaptor that allows them to function as part of a hearing loop.
