The Sculpture Gallery Previews Special Exhibition and Performance

Come and join us on Thursday, 6th March for a fabulous evening of dance, sculpture and photography – “Fragments” - and chat to all the artists over a glass of wine.

This preview is to launch a unique multidisciplinary collaboration between Gallery artist Mandy Long, photographer Stephen Cole and dancers, Pablo Reyero and Tony Polo. Stephen worked with Pablo and Tony, photographing and filming their emotional dance performance, whilst Mandy has captured the choreography in her delicate raku forms.

Print It! 2025 Exhibition

The ground breaking exhibition Print It! is back for its fifth edition, continuing its mission to make art more accessible by removing traditional barriers that often prevent artists from showcasing their work.

High exhibition costs—including printing, framing, transport, and venue hire—can be prohibitive, leaving many talented artists without opportunities to exhibit. Print It! was designed to overcome these challenges, offering a platform where artists can present their work without financial or logistical constraints.

MA Fine Art Interim Show – I Never Agreed to Lend My Voice

‘I Never Agreed to Lend My Voice’ exhibits experimentation, collaboration, and discovery from emerging artists challenging notions of voice, identity, environment and politics.

In a world where artists’ ownership of their own work is increasingly under threat, this exhibition embodies our desire to not only own our own work, but our own narratives, identities, and practices.

The title, drawn from a spontaneous conversation in the studio, captures a growing sentiment among us of defiance; a rejection of silencing and censorship.

Private View – MA Fine Art Interim Show – I Never Agreed to Lend My Voice

Please join us for an evening private view of I Never Agreed to Lend My Voice – a new exhibition featuring work by eleven MA Fine Art students at the University of Leeds.

I Never Agreed to Lend My Voice exhibits experimentation, collaboration and discovery from emerging artists challenging notions of voice, identity, environment and politics.

Blood: Ties and Tensions

An exhibition on how deep blood runs.

Beneath our skin-deep differences, blood is something that we all share. It flows, but also clots. It gives life, but also spreads disease. And, just as blood binds, it can also seed division.  It provides a unique and valuable perspective on contemporary social relationships due to its powerful symbolism and essential role in healthcare.

Who Am I When I'm With You? by Kai Brooks

Who Am I When I’m With You? The debut solo show from Coventry born artist and Assembly House resident Kai Brooks examines human connection through the medium of paint.

“This last year, more than any other, l've felt life change so quickly, people coming and going - new faces. Missing faces that aren't around so often anymore. Does that painting become a relic once you're gone? An old portrait is no longer a token of gratitude but a record of something that was. Either way, every minute that you sat opposite me as I painted will be held on that canvas.”
