Join Pyramid's Next Step group’s Going Places transport mural celebration at Seagulls Reuse on 17 July.

Throughout the autumn term in 2024, the Next Step group created designs inspired by public transportation. These designs will be hand-painted, using paint saved from landfills, to create one large-scale mural at Seagulls Reuse.

This celebration event is a chance to view the mural, meet the artists, enjoy some refreshments, and try making your very own wall art.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome!

Join Pyramid's upcoming group exhibition Playing Around at Sunny Bank Mills which features a collection of work from Pyramid artists who have been accessing their Studio Days sessions. The exhibition will include sculptures, ceramics, film, photography, painting and print-making created by over 15 artists.

Pyramid launched Studio Days in July 2024 and have around 15 members attending regularly, making experimental new work and enjoying spending more time in the studio. This exhibition showcases a selection of amazing art created by these emerging artists.

Experience two standout releases in full sonic detail, including an exclusive first listen to Khmer Live in Bergen by Nils Petter Molvær — a bold live reimagining of his 1997 landmark album, recorded in 2023. With trip-hop pulses, ambient swells, Nordic noir, and Molvær’s searing processed trumpet, this widescreen update blurs the lines between jazz, electronica, and cinematic soundscape.

The Trans Saints Project explores the history and legends of saints and figures who may be interpreted as trans today, with a book and a launch event. This is a 100% volunteer led project.

This event is for everyone - you do not have to be religious, LGBTQ, or academic to come and have a look. 

There will be artwork on display, and writing to read, plus there will be workshops you can join if you like!

In residence at Trinity Shopping Centre

The 'Poetry Chair' is a piece of writing you can sit in, with Rachel Flint's poem ‘Meditation’ screen printed by local artist and poet Bronagh Daly.

This tactile, interactive piece of reclaimed and re-upholstered art was created by 5 women of faith for the 'Chair of Sanctuary' project funded by Leeds Church Institute.

It has recently been in residence at the 'Writing on Air' festival at Chapel FM, renamed as the 'Recovery Chair'.

An exhibition of Meanwood at War. Displays of Meanwood during the 1930s and 40s and the effect it had on the village and in particular the lives of the 46 men named on the Meanwood War Memorial.
