Visual Note-taking with Ellie Julings

Visual note-taking (sometimes called sketch-noting) adds doodles, sketches and symbols to your note-taking to increase focus in the moment, notice the most important parts of a talk, meeting, lecture, video, book or experience, and improve how much you remember in the long term.

It’s about capturing ideas, not making great art, so don’t worry if you feel like you ‘can’t draw’. Anyone who struggles with making easy-to-understand notes can benefit from learning about visual note-taking. In this workshop you will:

Urban Nature Connection Workshop with Ellie Julings

Wildlife is all around us, even in the city. From red kites circling above us to weeds growing through cracks in the pavement, it’s there if we take time to notice. As city-dwellers, it’s not always easy to carve out time for a swim in the ocean or hike a distant mountain range. But in any given moment, it’s possible to give ourselves little of that wild feeling by simply focusing on the plants, creatures and natural forces we share urban spaces with.

Community Sound Bath

Join us for a gentle evening of relaxation and connection through sound: A 1 hour journey of Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, soft ambient tones, and soothing visuals. Afterwards, we’ll share wholesome chats and chill vibes over some nourishing homemade herbal tea.
