Find Your Focus with Ellie Julings

Do you struggle to find the headspace (or time, energy, motivation) to pursue the things that matter?

In this two hour introductory workshop, you’ll:

• Learn how brains and bodies respond to stress

• Try out some evidence-based techniques to refocus a busy mind

• Create a personalised visual reminder of what matters most to you

• Come away with a list of resources to explore once the workshop’s over

About your tutor

Make a Miniature Polymer Clay Pet with Georgia Osborn

Under the careful guidance of artist Georgia, you will first learn the basics of using polymer clay before moving onto designing your miniature pet and finally moulding them from polymer clay. Feel free to come prepared with ideas and photographs or let inspiration strike during the workshop!

Whilst the miniature pets are baking, you will craft tiny trinket homes for them from fabric and a matchbox.

Beginners Guide to Embroidery with Jane Gibson

You will be guided through choosing the right materials along with a range of decorative hand embroidery stitches which you will use to create your own sampler.

You will take your unique artwork and your skills home together with some inspiration for where your stitch journey may lead you next!

Jane is passionate about embroidery and uses it on anything she can get a needle through!

Join her in letting your creativity loose!

Babe

After being used in a ‘guess the weight’ contest at a county fair, orphaned piglet Babe is brought home to the farm of the contest winner, Arthur Hoggett. He is taken in by sheepdog Fly, her irascible mate Rex, and befriends a duck named Ferdinand, who wakes people by crowing like a rooster every morning. But will farm life and prejudice prevail, or will Babe fulfil his one dream: being a sheepdog.

Join us from 10.30am before our Saturday screening for a self-led, drop in activity.
