Family Boardgames Afternoon

As part of the Leeds Festival of Play and Creativity I'll be at The Old King's Arms from 12 noon - 4pm.

I'm there to teach and recommend boardgames from a massive selection.

There will be something to suit all ages, interests and abilities.

A lovely afternoon of playing together as a family even if your 'children' are technically grown ups.

Wild Play at Half Term

Set up camp for a day of wildness in the woods at TCV Skelton Grange...

The Bubble Show is a unique blend of magic, storytelling, science and bubble art! Enjoy bouncy bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, smoke bubbles, square bubbles, giant bubbles, and even fire bubbles!

Actor, storyteller, and Guinness World Record holder, The Highland Joker, is one of the top bubble artists in the world, bringing you an interactive, fun, international award-winning bubble extravaganza!

Is Leeds the most playful city in the galaxy?

Perhaps not yet, but a community of playful spirits is organising the first city-wide DIY Festival of Play and Creativity for this Autumn Half-Term. Leeds is already known for its playful pioneers, and this year, we're planning a feast of fun to brighten the winter months. Our organising crew includes library workers, community members, council workers, artists, and residents — all dedicated to making play a priority. We've hosted three community meet-ups — drawing over 100 local participants from various backgrounds — including individuals and business owners.
