Baby You're a Firework - Family Rave

Join Boomchikkaboom as we kick off Bonfire Night on the Boomchikkaboom dance floor!

Welcoming the whole family for a fun filled afternoon. We’ll be taking over the first floor of Revolucion de Cuba, Leeds.

Expect pom poms, bubbles, dance battles and parachute fun, photo opportunities and more!

Welcoming good vibes and BIG energy.

This event is aimed at 0-8 years but as always everyone is ALWAYS welcome.

Some people say your social life ends when you have children, Boomchikkaboom say, it’s only just begun!

Rattle & Hum Music

Fancy a music class where your little one can get their hands on actual real instruments?

During the Festival of Play I will have the flute with me for everyone to hear and explore - this is not a look don't touch class!

The class will be structured around familiar and new songs, with plenty of instruments, as well as time for free play.

Coffee & tea is provided too:-)

Nightmare In Elm Trees

Family friendly fun.

There is a big problem in the forest, this Hallows Eve. Only the young ghouls, ghosts, witches, warlocks and werewolves can help solve the pending nightmare. With pizza, full bar and sweet treats available to buy. See you at the Cemetery Gates when the clock strikes midnight! No humans allowed. 

Suitable for the whole family. Children and adults require a ticket. Under 2’s are free.

Project House of PLAY: Autumn Edit

Come PLAY with us as we takeover Project House for a special extended play session with live music.

Celebrate all things cosy and autumnal with nature play, light and shadow play, sensory play and creative invitations to make crafts inspired by the best of the season.

Think woodland treasures, pumpkins, gorgeous scents and warm colours. Gentle, friendly, relaxed, welcoming.

Carefully curated for the tiniest of babes right up to the big kids: bring the whole family down to start the half term holidays right!

Spooky Skeleton Safari at Tropical World

With Tropical World decorated for Halloween come and explore our indoor zoo. Uncover a host of spooky animal skeletons hidden in our mangroves, rainforest and enclosures, and discover interesting facts as you join in our trail.

Our animal team will be giving keeper talks at 2pm daily in the Activity Room, with children's crafts to keep the little ones busy. The shop will feature a host of scary spiders and snakes, as well as more cuddly toys, books and games.

Join us for a delightful day at our Den Building event during the Festival of Play!

We’ll gather to create cosy dens, play games, share stories, and toast marshmallows under. Remember to dress for classic British weather—think wet, cold, and windy, so you’re ready for anything! 

Parents, please keep an eye on your little ones and remember that booking is essential. Come along for a day of fun, laughter, and a true taste of the season!

Tiny Totley Studio

Discover the Tiny Totley Studio at Leeds Central Library during the Festival of Play and Creativity!

The Tiny Totley Studio is the creation of play-inspired artist Stephanie Jeffries and features a slide, a den, tactile objects and a sound installation unique to the building. Its introduction has brought new life to the early years area of the Children's Library, which still has a brilliant range of diverse book titles for under fives.

Little Leeds has a fun and playful space created with our own rascals in mind; somewhere to plan playdates, let little imaginations run wild and truthfully... give you five minutes of peace whilst your little ones aren't messing up the house!  Our little play area is unique to us and has been custom-designed for a joyful and pleasant play experience - it's not you're average soft play! 

We're offering half price play between October 25th - November 3rd for Leeds Festival of Play and Creativity!
