The Bad Mittens, LGBTQ+ inclusive social badminton

The Bad Mittens is a LGBT+ inclusive badminton group. This means that the group is open to anyone to attend, you don't have to identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Trans.

We welcome anyone from beginner to intermediate player levels, however please note that the group focus is on fun & friendly play so if you're looking for competitive games then The Bad Mittens probably isn't the right group for you.

Whether you're looking to get fit, socialise or make new friends we welcome new members into the group - and you don't have to be the best player to participate.

Generative Writing Lab - Monthly Queer Writers Workshop

Join Jess Wright on the last Tuesday of every month for a few hours of focused writing time. Each session will use a couple of queer texts as jumping off points for a series of writing exercises, with opportunities (but no requirement!) to polish and share short pieces. Aimed at both poets and prose writers who want to deepen their craft in dialogue with the queer literary tradition and in connection with others.

Radical Acts: AIDS Activism Talk

Join author George Severs and activist Mick Ward to talk about AIDS Activism at the next Queer History Club.

George's recently published book, Radical Acts, is a detailed history of the radical HIV / AIDS movement in England. It draws on activist campaign literature, broadcast media and oral history interviews, breaking new ground by studying everyday activism alongside marches and protests.

Roll With It - Pride Special

It's a Pride Month takeover this June in an all queer lineup for Roll With It's regular Terminus show! No two shows are the same, so expect quick wit, intense drama, and musical delights as the team makes up scenes on the spot based entirely on suggestions from you, the audience!
