As part of Queer History Club we are thrilled to welcome Jake Hall to talk about their book, Shoulder to Shoulder with historian Kit Heyam.

Jake Hall's new book Shoulder to Shoulder: A Queer History of Solidarity, Coalition and Chaos is a beautiful, messy, humane history of how marginalised groups have worked together for collective liberation. Overturning narratives that queerness is individualistic, or that identity politics divides rather than unites us, Shoulder to Shoulder brings hope and inspiration through histories of solidarity and the pioneering stories of activism for queer rights, Black civil rights, sex workers' rights and more.

Join Jake Hall in conversation with Kit Heyam to discuss the book, the stories behind it and what we can learn from this history today.
