Welcome to Leeds Pride, the biggest celebration of LGBTQ+ life in Yorkshire!

Leeds Pride is one of the biggest one-day festivals in Leeds City Centre! It has undoubtedly become a huge contributor to the local economy with over 70,000 choosing to visit last year, and attendance numbers are growing every year!

Painting The Town Ruby

International drag artist* and Drag Idol runner-up Ruby DeLong dazzles Leeds with her sensational one woman show, "Painting The Town Ruby”.

Following the sold-out success and rave reviews of the February debut, Ruby is ecstatic to bring the magic to LEEDS, the birthplace of her drag odyssey!

LGBTQ+ Swimming session at Bramley Baths

LLCC are excited to be launching a new set of swimming sessions at Bramley Baths! 

The pool is booked from 5.30pm - 6.30pm and during that time, the only people accessing the pool will be people who have signed up for the session. 

There final session before ours is at 5pm, so changing rooms should be empty to anyone but those of us signed up for the session. We welcome anyone who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and aim to be an inclusive space for people of all ages, genders and body types.

A Brief History of Difference by Das Clarks & Jo Fong with Becky Davies

Being different is a complicated business. It can be exciting, distressing, temporary, permanent, liberating, dangerous, painful, a cause for celebration. It’s about bodies and language, memories and labels, perceptions and assumptions, acceptance and resistance.

Join DAR, a queer, neurodivergent, curious, middle-aged Talking Heads fanatic, to consider some tricky questions around the subjects of difference, identity, positioning, labelling and belonging.

Culture Club I Queer On The Streets Arts and Crafts Club

Drop in anytime between 7 and 9pm to make, collaborate and chat.

This friendly and relaxed monthly arts and crafts club offers space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to get together, chat, collaborate and make things.

You're encouraged to bring your own materials, although we're hoping to make a box of communal materials (for drawing, painting, sewing, crochet etc) so feel free to bring down any extras that you're not using.

Yorkshire: A Trans History

The Collector’s Cabinet will host a display case curated by GossipGrrrl looking at Yorkshire’s transgender history.

Featuring Bronze Age Hull, Roman Age Catterick and York, Edwardian Era Bradford, Wartime Wakefield and 70s Leeds - we can see trans people have been a part of Yorkshire longer than there has been a Yorkshire to be a part of!

Leeds LGBT+ Angels Football Training Sessions

The Angels of Freedom are working with the Leeds United Foundation to deliver these FREE weekly fitness through football sessions.

All experience and fitness levels welcome, including absolute beginners.

Weekly sessions delivered by LUFC coaches. Sessions are non competitive, team building and focused on fitness and fun.

No booking required, just turn up on the day (but we advise checking our social media to confirm sessions are going ahead)

LGBT+ Social Space + Support Hub

Join the Angels of Freedom for our monthly FREE café social, serving up hot food (vegan and GF), snacks, cakes, hot and cold drinks.

We have lots of friendly attendees all happy to chat and make new friends, play board games (provided - or bring your own!) and chat with organisations supporting the event.

There is monthly support available until 7pm from TransLeeds, GIC Outreach team, Housing Leeds and other ad-hoc support services.
