Edo "Floating World" Prints and Ghostly Apparitions, talk

A brief talk of the history of Edo culture and the popularisation of the “Floating world picture” Ukiyo-e style of print will be followed by some background on folklore and ghostly examples in Edo period art.

Then, join in with a bit of Suminagashi floating - ink marbling!
