Join us for our Autumnal edition of the zine library lates as we celebrate the season with Autumn and morris dancing inspired zine making, sew a mushroom patch activity, bracelet making and learn a dance from special Morris dancing guests, The Wharfedale Wayzgoose Border Morris.
Wharfedale Wayzgoose dance in the Border Morris tradition, from the borders of England and Wales, which is defined by ragged clothing, disguise, stick clashing and guttural cries. They have performed all over the country this year they celebrated their 30th Anniversary. Wayzgoose are very excited to feature at the Leeds Zine Library Lates and will demonstrate and teach a traditional Border Morris dance to everyone attending.
The zine library late events happen on the last Wednesday of the month. Each month we have a workshop, self-led activities, badge maker and music, making it a great opportunity to meet new zine makers, get inspired by the library collections and learn new skills.
