Mass in Blue/Songs of Love

Join us this summer for our third main concert of the season.

Featuring two fantastic works by Will Todd in collaboration with resources in our new home at the Leeds Conservatoire.

 "We are the Leeds Conservatoire Pit Band Society. Directed by Poppy Hughes and Lottie Hood, this 24 piece Pit Band plays through various numbers from a range of classic Musical Theatre Shows! We perform a range of Overtures, Instrumentals and Vocal numbers from shows such as Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls, Crazy For You, Sister Act, Legally Blonde, Matilda- Plus many more!"

Brudenell Piano Sessions @ The Attic

For our summer show this year, we are taking Brudenell Piano Sessions on the road again, this time marking the occasion with a visit to The Attic on Sheaf Street in the city centre. As always, expect a typically varied and captivating evening of live music centred around the piano, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It’s piano music; for everyone.

Remembering VE Day 80

On Bank Holiday Monday 5th May at 11.00 a.m. at St.Bartholomew's Church, in Armley, there will be a Concert commemorating the 80th Year since VE Day.

With instrumental music including the R.A.F. March, Dambusters March, Roll of Honour, Nimrod etc., and songs from the 40s including "We'll Meet Again" and many more.

With Alice Barber (vocals) and Graham Barber (organ and piano). Medals and hats may be worn, and flags waved! 

Doors open at 10.30 for refreshments. Admission free - donations welcome!

O Maria Suavissima; The Voices of Female Composers in 17th Century

Event 3 in the Otley Baroque May Festival (3rd to 5th May)

Step into the world of Baroque music and uncover the brilliance of two trailblazing female composers, Barbara Strozzi and Isabella Leonarda. In an era where men predominantly shaped the cultural and musical landscape, these extraordinary women rose above to create music of profound beauty and passion.

Interstellar: Tribute to Hans Zimmer

Soundtracks of the renowned film ’Interstellar,’ directed by Christopher Nolan, and brought to life by the enchanting performance from Mystery Ensemble.

Hans Zimmer, the constant collaborator in his films and one of the greatest film composers of our time, is an Oscar winner, a two-time Golden Globe winner, and a three-time Grammy winner. Zimmer’s original compositions will be reimagined for a unique ensemble of instruments, combining electronics and acoustic instruments.
