Art at Roundhay Park - Summer Show

Our new show at Art Roundhay Park

Art Roundhay Park, a hidden gem within the heart of Roundhay Park. With new original artwork and prints, by artists and makers from the North of England, a total of nearly 40 artists and creators taking part!

The theme is inspired by the natural beauty of Roundhay Park, the Yorkshire coastline and landmarks in Yorkshire.

We've asked the artists to explore many different mediums, textures, colourways, but always with nature and landscape in mind.

Beginner's Weaving Course

This course is aimed at those who are complete beginners or for those who may have some experience weaving on a peg loom or rigid heddle loom but are keen to develop their skills.

Our vintage dobby looms will be set up and warped in the Weaving Shed, giving more time to concentrate on weaving.

For the first sessions you will rotate around the looms, exploring different weave structures whilst learning about your loom. The final session will be dedicated to weaving your own final project, this could be a table runner or cushion cover for example.
