Sunny Side

Where do young men stand in a world that seems to have no place for them?

K is struggling. At 18, he’s living in a world where everyone is rushing full-steam ahead but himself. He’s trapped in a small English Everytown; a self-proclaimed ‘rain-soaked paradise’ in the bottom of a Yorkshire valley. A town of two sides: old versus new, indigenous versus gentrified. And yet there’s still nowhere that seems to fit K.

The Legends of Them

“For the first time in my life, everything was silent”

A memory: Award-winning reggae pioneer Sutara Gayle AKA Lorna Gee – hears her radio debut from Holloway Prison. Another: She’s engulfed in the Brixton uprising sparked by the police shooting of her sister. And now she is here, a silent retreat, seeking spiritual guidance from her brother Mooji, Nanny of the Maroons, and a moment of transcendence.

Tess

Tess is a ground-breaking circus adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s classic novel Tess of the D’Urbervilles. An ensemble of performers weave together Hardy’s words and the extreme physicality of circus to tell this tale of power, loss and endurance.
