The Loft

The Loft, original Creation Records legends, set out on a UK tour next March in support of their forthcoming, ‘debut’ album.

The band plays Lending Room in Leeds on the 27th March, 2025.

The original line up of Pete Astor, Dave Morgan, Bill Prince and Andy Strickland, embark on their first ever UK club tour, 40 years after the classic ‘Up The Hill And Down The Slope’, topped the indie singles chart.

The Belair Lip Bombs

Comprising four friends (Maisie, Mike, Jimmy and Dev) from the coastal town of Frankston, Victoria - The Belair Lip Bombs craft heartfelt and hook laden indie rock songs connected by the groups close bond and friendship.

Led by Maisie Everett (Vocals, guitar), the group formed in 2017 and built an early following across Melbourne supporting local acts Ladyhawke, Spacey Jane, Slowly Slowly, Tired Lion, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, British India, and more.

Nap Eyes

Nap Eyes’ metamorphic fifth long-player collects a cache of nine fascinating songs recorded over the four years since Snapshot of a Beginner.

Anna B Savage

A sense of rootedness is at the heart of Anna B Savage’s third record You and i are Earth, a record that is as much about healing as it is an unbowed sense of curiosity, and, more simply, “a love letter to a man and to Ireland.”

Everyone Can Draw

'Everyone can draw' says Leeds Fine Artists inviting families to join them in drawing everyday objects over two days this school holiday.

Marking the occasion of their 150th anniversary, member-artists have chosen familiar items to link to artworks displayed in an upstairs room within the Gallery. All you need to do is select an object you like, pick up paper and a pencil, and enjoy the experience of drawing.

Light Night Leeds: You have seen nothing yet

Dutch artist Boris Maas responds to the mystery and atmosphere of the moonlit paintings of Victorian artist John Atkinson Grimshaw with his own immersive light installation and photographs.

As part of the Light Night Leeds programme reaching across the University of Leeds’ campus, visitors can experience two paintings by Grimshaw from the University of Leeds’ collection before entering Maas’ immersive installation, which is divided into two parts.
