Leeds Baroque Orchestra, directed by Peter Holman return to the relaxed surroundings of The Old Woollen at Sunny Bank Mills for another exploration of the Italian Concerto. They are joined by two notable soloists: Gail Hennessy (Baroque oboe) and leader of the orchestra Asuka Sumi (Baroque violin) to perform a wide-ranging programme of music representative of Venetian taste in the late 17th - early 18th Century. Works by Vivaldi predominate but the programme includes Marcello’s popular Concerto in D minor and Albinoni’s Sonata a cinque in G minor, op.

This Retrospective Exhibition will include pieces from various guest artists from 2024, and we hope you enjoy re-visiting them or seeing them for the first time.

One year on from the first Offshoots, we return to Wharf Chambers to bring a night of improvised, experimental music.
At this gig we advise you bring pen, paper, paint or any art supplies (some will be provided) to draw and capture the event.

A guitarist/composer who absorbed his art in the land of its origin, Andalucia and later Madrid, introduces his compositions within the forms of the great tradition of flamenco. Juan Martín's unique sound has been honed through a lifetime of concerts and recordings and performing with legends of the song and dance like Rafael Romero and Eva la Yerbabuena.
Juan has recorded 20 albums, published 17 books and was invited to appear in a Spanish film ‘Donde tu Estés’ when only 17 years old. He has since made three films/dvds with his flamenco dance company.

Get to grips with our fantastic screen printing facilities and learn the basics of screen printing onto paper.
You will use paper stencil methods to print multi-layered prints, experimenting with transparent inks to produce interesting layers and outcomes. Handcut stencils allow you to work quickly and you’ll make a handful of layers throughout the day.
