Kenji is a shy, part-time moderator for OZ, the virtual reality world that powers everyday life, until pretty and popular Natsuki recruits him to be her fake boyfriend. Hidden Master: The Legacy of George Platt Lynes

George Platt Lynes began his career in the 1930s photographing celebrities, and it’s for those portraits, along with his extravagant fashion work, that he is best remembered today. However, Lynes’ heart and his greatest passion was focused in his private work with the male nude.

His groundbreaking photography influenced contemporary tastemakers of his time such as Jean Cocteau, Man Ray, and Cecil Beaton, and his legacy of influence made waves through the decades, inspiring such iconic photographers as Robert Mapplethorpe, Bruce Weber, and Andy Warhol.

Story Garden - Code, Craft, Create

To celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme, we will be making our own Story Gardens in lots of exciting ways. You will code a moisture sensors to keep plants hydrated, construct eye-catching plant pots with Lego and craft colourful flowers. Taking place at various venues:

Circus Open Training

We are a group of performers and circus enthusiasts who meet regularly to practice and share our skills in like-minded company. We run weekly skill-shares on Tuesdays 6pm-9pm at Open Source Arts, Leeds, focusing on learning new skills together in supportive company.

AcroYoga

AcroYoga is a dynamic partner practice that blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a partner practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community.

This session is primarily a jam session, where you can practice and play together.

For beginners there will also be some time at the start of this session where a couple of people will work with beginners to help for the first hour or so.

Out of the Box

Out of the Box is a family-friendly circus comedy show, which sees an unlikely character and his box bring audiences together through joyful awe, never knowing what to expect next.

With every opening of the box comes new trick shots, mini acts, and hilarious opportunities for participation – but don’t worry – Darryl only ever wants you to leave the stage feeling like the star of the show (there’s no ridicule here!).
