Born out of the Leeds jazz scene, and visiting the stages of Matt and Phreds, The Domino, Wakefield Jazz, and others, Joseph Frost-Tesfaye (piano), Harry Souter (double bass) and Louis Berthoud (drums) have played together in various arrangements for nearly 4 years, but in the last last year began performing together as a trio.

TNL: Ghostly Hounds

Ghostly Hounds is the folk project of Francesca Mirai, singer-songwriter-banjo player based in the Lekwungen territory colonially known as Victoria, BC.

Ghostly Hounds creates soulful folk and old-time music with a distinct, haunting sound.  Classically trained, powerhouse vocals, evokes a fusion of modern and vintage sounds, while simple foot percussion infuses dynamics, drive, and rhythm into their live shows.
