Come along to this relaxed workshop and learn how to make beautiful notebooks using the traditional art of Japanese stab stitch book binding.
Using colourful threads, beads and patterned cover papers you will make at least two unique books.
This workshop is led by local artist and professional story teller Vickie Orton, who has run hundreds of fabulous creative workshops across Yorkshire.

In this relaxing and informative workshop we will be covering the basics of creating a painting using gouache and watercolour, with the choice to paint a landscape or still-life.
Our calm and friendly tutor will walk you through the basics of colour mixing, layering and composition.
We will start with some exercises to test out materials and then make a small painting to finish and take home. This workshop is suitable for beginners through to intermediates.
